Hullo Brother Witzenburger, Not German are you lol . . . . . I am just finishing my second to the last course in Module 3. These courses are sooooooooo wonderful, as God leads and makes the way I also plan on going on to the university. I am praying as He makes away He also gives me the mind of Christ, so I may study to show myself approved. As Gdo leads I am planing on trading our "steamy" TX weather in on some that doesn't get so hot! As I use my studies to further the kingdom of God. God bless you and your studies!

Good evening from Casselberry, Florida
The weather is hot steamy I love Florida but not as much as the Lord
I'm new here 66 years old newly ordained.
Living in a mobile home community with my wife of 42 years and looking forward to another 42 or more years if the Lord tarries.
God has blessed us with 7 wonderful children and 11 grand children.
All our children are saved and grown up.
I'm taking the free Bible study given by Ames International School of Ministry and hope to go on to the University.
Yours in Jesus the Christ

"Reframing" the Ten Commandments
This display of God's Commandments is to begin inside our hearts
by Marsha Crockett

This month the Sixth District Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a permanent injunction against the display of the Ten Commandments at local courthouses in two counties in Kentucky (McCreary and Pulaski). The suit, brought by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), said that its claimants had "suffered a constitutional violation and will suffer continuing injury if the violation continues."

The ACLU first challenged this display in 1999 and the counties removed the framed copies of the Ten Commandments, only to replace it with a more "historical display" including the Magna Carta, Mayflower Compact, Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and other documents along with the Ten Commandments. The Court ultimately ruled that this historical display, while seeking to "minimize the residue of religious purpose," didn't eliminate the irreparable injury to the ACLU's members.

Ironically, this same Court a month earlier had upheld a ruling allowing the historical display, including the Ten Commandments, in Grayson County, KY. It seems such debates in the U.S. courts of law will continue to be a battle cry for the Christian majority who long for God's reign in this land. However, looking back into the Biblical history of the Israelites to whom the Ten Commandments were given, we see a much different directive from God in how His commandments should be displayed.

Our Godly Heritage

Allegiance Anew
Reaffirming our country's most powerful resource

by Adam Colwell

I pledge allegiance to my Flag, and the Republic for which it stands, one nation indivisible -- with liberty and justice for all.
-- Original Pledge of Allegiance wording, Francis Bellamy, 1892
At the first National Flag Conference in Washington D.C. on June 14, 1923, a change was made to the verbage above for clarity: the words "the Flag of the United States" replaced "my flag." In 1942 Congress officially recognized the Pledge of Allegiance, but it wasn't until 12 years later that the most significant alteration to the Pledge of Allegiance was made.

That's when, in June 1954, an amendment was made to add the words "under God" to the pledge. President Dwight D. Eisenhower said, "In this way we are reaffirming the transcendence of religious faith in America's heritage and future; in this way we shall constantly strengthen those spiritual weapons which forever will be our country's most powerful resource in peace and war."
