This Kosher Chicken Recipe has become a family favorite at our table, and we can make alot (for easy reheat for Sabbath Meals or make a smaller amount for just a nice family dinner sometime through the week! .....................................
"BAKED CHICKEN OREGANO"
From: Barbara & Steve Wasser

For big families 3 lbs. or more of boneless chicken pieces
(we like to use chicken breasts)
The more chicken added just double your marinade recipe! : )
Smaller meals, number of pieces enough for your family.

Marinade:
2-3 medium onions (chopped)
3-4 cloves of garlic (minced) - also can use garlic salt 2 tbsp.
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup red, or white wine vinegar
1/2 cup of white cooking wine, or white wine
fresh ground pepper to taste
1 tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. dried oregano or fresh
1 tbsp. granulated sugar

Preheat oven 375'
Wash meat, pat dry, lay in big glass baking dishes.
You can marinade your meat over night or it is good fresh and baked into the chicken the same day! ( what ever you like!)
Mix all ingredients up above in a large mixing bowl.
Pour over your chicken.
Bake until brown and the onion looks tender and baked about
45 minutes.
(Serve with your favorite rice, colored vegetables, potatoes,
salads, and bread, and it's a very Good Meal! : )

Hello! I love to cook! With a family of 7 I find myself doing it lots too! HAHAHA! My husband and I tried kosher cooking about 6 years ago, and have been loving their food and recipes!
I am a big recipe book lover! I love Faye Levy's recipes! She is a brilliant chef! I find her meat recipe's are out of this world! I have to watch dairy, for my husband can not handle to much dairy for his allergies, but they are Amazing just the same! If you guy's would like some Faye's and now our fav. family recipies I would be glad to give them!!! : )

Here is a great dessert to take to pot lucks in the summer.

No Natcho Desert Natcho's

Ingredients:

Flour tortilias

Sugar

Vegtable oil

Vanilla instant pudding mix

Seedless Watermelon

1can drained crushed pineapple

1Green Kiwi

Method:

Set pineapple to drain

Prepare flour totillias by brushing lightly with vegtable oil spinkling with white granulated sugar then cutting them up into cracker size pieces. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and place tortillias on it. bake at 300 just til crisp and light golden around edges.

Mix pudding according to directions and pour onto a flat serving plater that has raised edges. Place in the fridge to chill and set.

Chop up watermelon in to small pieces. ( about 1/4" x 1/4")

Chop up kiwi fruit even smaller if you can

Mix watermelon, kiwi and pineapple together.

Gently spread fruit mixture on top of the pudding just before serving

Serve with prepared tortilia crackers.

If you don't want to go to the trouble of preparing tortilias substitute with Graham crackers.

You know, I was reading this and it makes me think of how we tell our children nursery rhymes and how we don't even know the true meaning behind the rhyme. WOW! Thanks Prophetess Angela, and the answer is: she went to get her poor dog a bone.
Look how God led you to the knowlege behind this thing I like things like this! Send more. You gave me and my mother something to think about!

Hey, do you remember this nursery rhyme?
Question 1: What did Mother Hubbard go to the cupboard to get?

Origin of this nursery rhyme
Origins of lyrics in British history
The Old Mother Hubbard referred to in these nursery rhyme words and lyrics allude to the famous Cardinal Wolsey. Cardinal Wolsey was the most important politician and churchman of the Tudor history period in 16th century England. Cardinal Wolsey proved to be a faithful servant but displeased the King, Henry VIII, by failing to arrange the King's divorce from Queen Katherine of Aragon which would enable him to marry Anne Boleyn. The King was the "doggie" and the "bone" alludes to the divorce (and not money as many believe) The cupboard relates to the Catholic Church
