The Beauty of Strech Marks

It wasn't until the other day that I realized the significance of strech marks both mortally and spiritually. My little girl used to raise my shirt up when I was pregnant and say "baby" now she raises my shirt up and pets my strech marks and says "flower" Birth is the only thing on the earth that can be emotional, trying, painful and beautiful all at the same time. This is the same with a spiritual pregnancy. When we are pregnant we are on a emotional roller coaster, not knowing our heads from our tails. We are at one moment anxious about our birth, then crying because we feel like we are unprepared to bring life into his world. When God conceives something within us, we begin to become filled with the anxiety of wandering just what God will be birthing through us. We also are worried about the thoughts of "will I be equiped to handle the load when it gets here? Will I know what to do with it when it gets here? Do I know all that there is to know about this life that God is going to birth?" We go through milestones while pregnant just as we do spiritually. But spiritually we call them trials. We have the 1st,2nd, and 3rd trimester, with each one having its own risks, new pains, and tiredness. The trials that we face with a spiritual pregnancy is very similar... Our God will not allow us to give birth until we are tried multiple times before he will establish that we are ready to give birth to the spiritual baby that we now possess within us. As it manafests itself within us (like a mortal baby) we must go through the trial that will prepare us to do something with it when God brings it into this world. Even the Bible says that birth is the worst pain that could ever be felt, there are the contractions the shedding of the placenta and alot of blood loss. Just like in spiritual birth there are somethings that that we must shed out of our lives to push out this manafestation that God has so generously given us. The beauty of bringing a child into this world is un-compareable to anything else on this earth. Birth also leaves a remnant to let us know that it has been there, Strech marks that show what we have been through. Spiritual strech marks are a representation of mother hood, wisdom, and maturity. As in mortal birth, we are given an instinct to prothect what has been given to us, through the years of watching the manafestation grow we gain new knowledge and wisdom, learning from our children patience and acknowledgemt of the importance of life. Birth is a maturing experience that makes us respect the mothers before us. The next time you see a strech mark remember the beauty that God has blessed you with, and that you know you were found worthy for God to give you a manafestation.

The way of Judgemental Flesh.

We are so quick to point fingers and to proud to admit that our lives may be worse. Our flesh judges people on the "outside". Leaving our souls to rot in anxious curiosity. Nobody wants to except damnation but everyone wants to give it. We need to stop throwing the book at each other; instead we need to pick it up and read it. We keep a mask over our eyes; a mask that has blinded us by judgemental flesh. We must remove our decieving disguise. Are our sins of judging, (which is)takeing the role of God, any different than the ones we judge. Does judging make us look more Holy or show our lack of knowledge. We expose others sin according to the Lord, we say. But is this the will of the Lord or the enemies way of discoureging the weak.

The New Christian Fad

The unbelievable desire to watch others seems to be the new fad amongst "Christians" today. It seems that their lives are so drabb that they have lost interest for themselves and gained a horrific interest in the lives of others. Someone elses walk with Christ is so much more important to their enternal critic than their own relationship with the savior.

I believe I have missed the scripture that said my criticism could push someone else into Heaven. Maybe because it dosen't exist. I do believe the scripture that states that you must work out your own salvation with fear and trembling is the most relevant scripture to be used for these habitual lifestyles. God has a calling on everyone's life. But I don't recall any of these callings being a scriptural critic.

Some just claim to be encouraging those that they watch. But telling someone that their walk with Christ isn't correct (because it dosen't line up with theirs) isn't encouragement. Encouragement is words spoken or deeds done for someone that lifts up their spirit and brings joy to their heart. We should know by watching society through the years that Fads aren't perminent, the always fade away.
