Hi, welcome to my Faith page. I'm originally from Jacksonville, FL but I live out on the edge of Sin City, Nevada. I was originally stationed out here against my will while serving in the air force. I'm not excited about it now either. My wife and her folks live out here and (well, you get the picture).
I miss the barbecue, christian concerts, ocean, green vegetation, etc...
I grew up in the pentecostal/charismatic environment. When I was stationed out in England, I gravitated theology wise torward many reformist viewpoints. Simply put, I found my self becoming more of a "calvinist" leaning
guy and less of a dispensationalist. For many people, It means nothing unless you are a theology fanatic BUT I'm trying to describe myself here.
I'm a father, husband, christian rocker, air force veteran, nurse, Dallas Cowboys Diehard, pro wrestling fan, and a returning gym freak. I'm a little bit mental at 42...hey, thats not a bad thing.
Hope to meet many of you soon.!!!!

Oh by the way, your kitty is awesome! What is its name and is it male or female?
I know I have been off for awhile. Nothing personal, mostly neglect. My daughter had surgery last week and I got mmy new kitten (turned out it was a boy and not the girl I expected).
I finnishhed reading "Bondage of the Will" Somethings happens in translation or his prose because it seems very boring and the book had it divided into hundreds of subsections. I would get lost on who was talking to who.
Did anyone else find this problem with Martin Luther's writings.
Now John Calvin, I could't put it down. He made it come alive that I would forget it was a commentary. Hopefully, Josephus will be more like Calvin. Does anyone know where I can find his commentary on Isiah.

You aint alone there is a hidden army of reformed evangelical charismatics who are scattered all over the globe!
God bless!
Good to meet ya,' Brother. You truly are not alone! Also, make sure to check out the "Five Solas and a Tulip" Group. It's a group for Calvinists.
God bless.
